Spring is definately in the air and we have now received the majority of the new Lingerie lines for Spring Summer 2008..

We are also eagerly awaiting the new ivory Pure White Sugar range from Fleur T, which will reach La Femme Fatale lingerie in mid March and will be available from this date to buy from www.lafemmefatale.co.uk . The collection features beautiful ivory silk satin with a dainty hint of floral, perfect for Spring Summer Lingerie wardrobes and also ideal for Bridal Lingerie. ..it's luxurious lingerie!

We have also been busy visiting and buying at the key Lingerie Trade Shows where we have been keeping a look out for  the main Autumn Winter Lingerie trends for 2008.  We were really impressed with the Paris International Lingerie Show where everyone from Calvin Klein to smaller boutique brands could be found. We particularly liked the boutique area at the show, which housed brands like Fleur T, Pistol panties, Mimi Holliday and cool accessories from the brand  'when God create woman'.  The show was really professional and it just confirmed why the Lingerie sector is growing and how it's working  very closely with key clothing fashion trends.

The catwalk at the Paris Lingerie trade show was also very impressive. It is reported that the Lingerie key colour trends for Autumn Winter 2008 include black, chocolate, gold and silver tempered with ivory, berry, red, purple and olive green ..a rich and decadent palette of colours for this season.

The lingerie catwalks at Paris showcased a number of lingerie brands and we noticed more features around loungewear and

a come back of the Corset too. The theme seemed to be playful with attention to big bows on the lingerie, thigh high hold ups and  lots of briefs and variations on the brief style, confirming that Briefs seem to be big !  Lingerie worn as outerwear was also heavily featured on the catwalks ..especially with camisole tops and wrap tops

We will be reporting back in more detail by lingerie brand and also on  the Hot Autumn Winter Lingerie colour schemes in the next few weeks..
